At the start of this year, we were informed that we could use different tools other than tumblr for writing our blogs. I jumped at the opportunity as i’ve always thought there was bound to be a more effective platform that i could use. Tumblr, although it is a good site, for keeping a creative blog like we do, i found it clunky to use and a pain when i wanted to edit or reorganise.

The lecturers mentioned that last years final year group enjoyed using Notion. Notion was a platform i’d heard of but never attempted to use. When i first downloaded the platform and started investigating it’s features and capabilities, I realised how much I was going to prefer this platform to tumblr. With it’s sleek and customisable design, I knew my work would be better represented in this way.

As this was a new platform for me, I did the initial tutorials that are provided by Notion. However, I also branched further online as sometimes people find more straight forward but effective ways of using these platforms and I discovered the website attached above. I found the information and walk throughs easy to understand and follow. It really helped me with my journey on how to use Notion.
