Maze | User Research & Testing Platform

Using the link above you can see the results to my first round of user testing. From this experience I was able to gather that the registration process could be condensed and simplified slightly however keeping in mind the level of detail required for this stage as its personal data that patients are requesting to be released to app after the completion of their registration.

I also shared my maze link on the ni creative community slack channel in hopes of receiving some feedback from fellow designer in order to refine and better my design. I was very open to any feedback supplied from both designers on slack who suggested improving my dash as upon first sign in you wont have any data to display so having it be the users build their dash, could be a better approach to this. As well as simplifying the registration and taking the unnecessary modals like notification allowance etc out and including them at triggering stages throughout using the app upon completing the registration process.

I also received helpful feedback and guideline from Kyle at this stage of my process as to what my next steps should be and that considering my flow before moving on to mocking my screens up to high-fi will be my next plan of action in order to keep the project moving forwards.

I found this round of usability test very enlightening as I haven’t previously completed any style of user testing for projects so I look forward to further understanding and using this new skill set.
